“All the positive review about this place were true, and then even more so as we arrived and were welcomed by Karina and her husband. We had initially booked for 2 nights, but the freedom given to our children to roam around and be with the animals, the go-karts and the extremely healthy and very tasty food made us stay for 4 nights.

We wished we had discovered this place before, as it is currently topping our list of preferred place to stay in Tanzania mainland. Simba Farm Lodge is likely to become even more popular as they combine reasonable prices with true customer care, for instance with Karina asking what more could be done to make the stay enjoyable, but asking both the parents and also the children for their views (the answer was: make bicycles available :-))

Our only regret is to have discovered this place in our last month in Tanzania, but it was a great way to end our 4 year stay here.”

“This place is truly unique in all aspects of hospitality. The rooms, all decorated individually with much love, give you a warm feeling of home away from home. The views are stunning and invite you to spend an entire day on the veranda, taking in the beautiful surrondings and watching birds. It is incredible how many bird species can be spotted on the property and they have a variety of bird books available, so you don’t need to be a birder to join in the fun. Simba Farm is not only home to many cows, goats and sheep but also some beautiful horses which can be ridden upon request.

The sundowners are fantastic. The lookout point you are taken to by Karina and Davin, in their great game drive car, exceeded my expectations. Karina, who grew up on the farm and her husband Davin know the property and tanzania very well, they are very knowledgable and willing to share their knowlede. In the evenings you can jump in the game drive car and go out on an adventure to see the creatures of the night. From White-tailed Mongooses to striped Hyenas, there is a lot to discover on the farm.\nBeing a farm, all of their produce is fresh and the food is prepared in the farm kitchen. Every meal is created with great care and diligence and the food really is incredible.

Simba Farm, its owners and employees are extraordinary hosts. I really loved the time I spent there and will definitely be back!”
